Nezuko
ROLE
Costume Designer and Model
DESCRIPTION
Nezuko was a more simple build that heavily relied on sewing skills. Drafting the pattern was the easy part, the struggle more so came with finding the perfect fabric. The outer kimono layer is a custom print cotton fabric with a deluxe satin liner. The trim hanging off the kimono is a fabric imported from Italy that just so happened to have the perfect pleat. I hand dyed the wig and 3D printed the muzzle. The belt and robe were also hand drafted patterns with the belt being made with custom print fabric and a rope tied in a traditional knot.
